bells off this morning

 

cafeteria   2 xbox controllers and a rock band 2 game are missing from the caf.

the cafeteria is open on monday next week, but closed for the rest of the week.

 

dropping courses   wednesday is the last day to drop a course.

 

ib   Reminder to all grade 11 IB diploma students that you are all to meet in front of the office at 11:45 today for your field trip to the university of Manitoba.

 

library   Friday, June 16th is the last day to return library books and clear overdue fines. the library is closed from june 26th to june 30th for inventory.

 

volunteer opportunity   Any student 16 years old or older and are looking for volunteer hours and would be available to sell 50/50 tickets at the Goldeyes game this Friday, see Ms Eyjolfson for more details.

 

locker cleanup   june 15 at 2pm

 

job opportunity   Want to spend the summer outside and earn money? The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba is looking for high school student assistants for the winter wheat breeding program.

 

You would work at the University of Manitoba Fort Gary campus from July 4 to September 1.  Duties include weeding, data collection and entry, hand-harvesting, and seed cleaning among others.  The rate of is pay $13.12 per hour with 35 hour work weeks (minimum) and overtime in harvest season. exam schedule   it’s available online or in the office. There is also a form that needs to be submitted to the office if you are going to be away during exams.

the exam seating schedule is outside of the office. check that you know where your name is. if there are any problems, see mrs. cordova in the office.

 

bike locks   students who bike to school are strongly encouraged to purchase a u-lock, as chain locks are very easy to cut and there have been attempted thefts throughout the division.

 

baseball   all boys who plan on trying out for baseball next year are to meet in the gym at lunch today.
